Established for over 20 years, Herbies Pizza have grown into a franchise of 22+ stores in the UK. Offering a delicious range of fresh pizzas to suit every taste.


Challenge
What were they struggling with & what they looked to achieve
In 2018 Herbies Pizza had difficulty reaching existing customers and noticed more online orders coming in from third party apps like JustEat. In order to get customers to order direct, Herbies Pizza needed an online marketing platform that provided both SMS text and email marketing under one easy to use system.


Approach
What we did to get the client setup
Text Global helped get Herbies Pizza setup our Enterprise Platform (with no setup fees, monthly charges or long-term commitments) where the client could setup bulk SMS text marketing campaigns and email marketing campaigns with ease!
We assisted Herbies Pizza through the entire process of downloading their customer database from their online ordering and EPOS systems. Furthermore, we shared advice on how to cleanse and re-format their data to save the client time.
With one-to-one online screen shares we provided Herbies Pizza with extensive training on how to use our platform. In addition, we gave market leading advice on how to stay GDPR compliant and tips to optimise the marketing campaign.

Results
In order to track direct conversions, the client used a discount code ‘33OFF’ for a £33% discount off pizzas when ordering direct.
The email marketing campaign was sent to 8,080 contacts at a cost of just £26+VAT.
The campaign saw email delivery rates of 98.85% and click through rates (CTR) of 1.04%. With a total of 84 unique clicks.
This particular email campaign generated £924 in returned revenue.
As a result, this email marketing campaign achieved ROAS of 1-35x – excellent return on investment.
